About Tina Zwolinski
CEO & Co-founder of skillsgapp – Skillionaire Games
Tina is the CEO and Co-founder of skillsgapp, the first to offer location-based career gaming apps – Skillionaire Games – focused on growing a more vetted entry-level talent pool to meet industry’s greatest workforce needs. Skillionaire Games is accelerating and diversifying the workforce pipeline by helping Generation Z gain the career and pathway awareness and access necessary to participate in the skills-based jobs sector that includes life science, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture.
Headquartered in South Carolina, with a West Coast office in California, skillsgapp’s mission is to connect youth, especially the underserved and underrepresented, to life-changing careers through game-changing play.
In 2023, skills gap was named a Top 100 Workforce Company by EdTech Digest, and, in 2022, was awarded the Best Global Game – Special Project Category by Games for Change and the People’s Choice Award by Facebook Gaming.
Prior to founding skillsgapp, Tina launched and led ZWO, an award-winning branding and marketing firm focused on economic and workforce development and generational consumer brands, including Dreamworks, Subway, Beltone Hearing Technology, and global student housing brands Valeo Groupe and LIV Student. During the more than two decades that Tina led and grew ZWO to three locations, she became more passionate about helping youth gain awareness and access to more varied, alternative career paths, further expanding their horizons in the workforce.
Tina mentors through the South Carolina Minority Business Accelerator and serves on the Association of Continuing Education. She also mentors teens.
