About Steve Teertstra
Dr. Steve Teertstra is a Technical Service and Development manager handling BR, SBR and Butyl elastomer products within the NORAM region for ARLANXEO. Steve received both his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, ON, Canada in Polymer Chemistry. He started his career in 2007 with LANXESS as a Research Scientist in the Global Butyl R&D group. Since that time, he has worked in various roles in production and process support before transitioning to his current technical marketing role in 2015, with specific emphasis on tire and plastics modification applications.
